Made from Chestnut Sheep can feed on rough pasture which is unsuitable for cattle or agriculture, including mountainous terrain. Seasonal herding along mountainous routes gave rise to what are now known as drovers' roads. A strong, multi-purpose stick can be used for balance, examining dangerous undergrowth and for defence against attack by predators. The innovation of a hook facilitates the recovery of fallen animals by ensnaring them by neck or leg. For this reason the crook has been used as a religious symbol of care (particularly in difficult circumstances).
These small rubber sleeves slide over the shank of the treble hooks on your predator rigs. By doing so, they conceal the twisted wire of your traces resulting in a neat finish.
Available in red and black.
Each packet contains 30 sleeves.
These crimp covers are an excellent addition to your piking rigs. The rubber covers can be slid along your trace to cover crimps and knots, improving presentation of baits.
They are also brilliant at deterring weed from sticking to your rigs.
Large size only available in black.
Each pack contains 50 covers.
